What the last check found
Banco Ripley is the banking arm of Ripley Corp, the Chilean department-store group: a real licensed bank in two countries, with its own current accounts, Mastercard credit and debit cards and consumer lending (bancoripley.cl; bancoripley.com.pe, where the footer gives the legal entity as BANCO RIPLEY S.A., RUC 20259702411).
The important finding for an integrator is what it is NOT. No gateway documents Banco Ripley as a pay-in method. It is absent from Adyen's 113-method catalog, Airwallex's 98, Antom's 109, Stripe's 64, Checkout.com's and Mollie's llms.txt indexes, PayRetailers' Chile, Peru and bank-transfer pages, Worldline's method index, Unlimit and Paysafe. It is absent from dLocal's and EBANX's Chile and Peru pay-in method lists, which name Webpay, Servipag, Khipu, Fintoc, MACH, PagoEfectivo, Yape and SafetyPay but no Ripley rail. Kushki's Chile "Transfer In" bank list reaches only BancoEstado, Banco Falabella, Santander, Banco de Chile and BCI — Falabella's bank is a supported pay-in bank; Ripley's is not.
Where it does appear, it is a payout destination bank. dLocal lists it for Chile payouts as bank_account.code 53 (CL/CLP) and for Peru as 055, with its table stating PEN yes, USD no, mobile wallets no. EBANX lists it for Chile payouts as 053 (CLP) and Peru as 054 (PEN). Note the Peru codes disagree between the two gateways — use each gateway's own list rather than reusing a code.
Documentation is silent on refunds, chargebacks, recurring and 3DS, which follows from it being a payout rail rather than a checkout method. The listing's single existing country row understates it: two countries are sourced.
