What FamilyMart costs
Merchants do not pay FamilyMart directly. Each payment provider that offers it sets its own rate, so compare a few and ask them to quote.

What the last check found
FamilyMart is a specific brand, but not a payment scheme in its own right: it is one of the convenience stores where a Japanese konbini cash payment is settled, and no gateway sells it alone. Stripe's `konbini` method states "Customers can pay at FamilyMart, Lawson, Ministop, and Seicomart stores across Japan"; Antom's "Konbini (convenience store)" names "Lawson, FamilyMart, MINISTOP, Seicomart, Daily Yamazaki" (7-Eleven is a separate Antom method); Adyen's eContext "Japanese convenience stores" names Family Mart with Lawson, Mini Stop, Seicomart, Pay-easy and 7-Eleven (7-Eleven needs a local entity). All three state Japan only and JPY only — Adyen settles JPY as well. In Stripe's API the chain is an explicit key, `next_action.konbini_display_details.stores.familymart`, each store carrying its own `payment_code` and `confirmation_number`, so the shopper is shown one code per chain and chooses where to pay cash.
For an integrator: this is a delayed-notification cash rail (Stripe funds payout 4 business days after payment), 120–300,000 JPY per charge on Stripe, voucher expiry 3 days by default (1–60 configurable) on Stripe and 7 days on Adyen. Refund behaviour diverges — Stripe supports full and partial refunds but must email the shopper for bank details (fails after 45 days), while Adyen marks refunds, recurring, partial capture and chargebacks all unavailable. No gateway offers chargebacks; Stripe allows subscriptions only with `send_invoice`.
Where documentation is silent: nobody documents FamilyMart in Taiwan (Airwallex lists an unbranded "Taiwan Convenience Stores" row), Airwallex's Konbini (Cash) row names no chains, and the Rapyd and Checkout.com llms.txt indexes show no konbini page. Rapyd does list FamiPay — FamilyMart's JPY wallet — which is a different method. Worldline's method index did not render server-side, so it is unchecked.
