Bank Islam

Bank Islam is not a payment method in its own right: it is a bank you pick on the FPX bank-selection screen. Stripe's API reference lists `bank_islam` as one of 25 accepted values of `fpx.bank`, and its FPX page states customer location Malaysia, presentment currency MYR, refunds and partial refunds yes, recurring no, disputes no, payout in 5 business days, with FPX owned and operated by PayNet. 2C2P names it twice — "Bank Islam | FPX_BIMB | MYBISM" in its FPX agent-code table, and "BIMBMYKL | BANK ISLAM BHD" (plus Labuan branch BISLMYKA) in its Malaysia payout bank codes, so it is also a payout destination. Xendit abbreviates it to channel `ISLAM`, offering both `ISLAM_FPX` (max MYR 30,000) and `ISLAM_FPX_BUSINESS` (max MYR 1,000,000), min MYR 1, settlement T+2 — and, unlike the others, marks refunds as unsupported on its FPX channels. Adyen, Airwallex and Antom document the FPX rail (MY, MYR; Adyen settles MYR or USD via Razer Merchant Services; Antom caps at MYR 30,000, 180-day refund window; all three say no recurring and no chargebacks) but do not enumerate issuers, so they cover Bank Islam without naming it. Integrator takeaway: do not build to Bank Islam directly — enable FPX and let the shopper choose. Documentation is silent on Bank Islam-specific limits, uptime or Shariah-related restrictions, and on whether its corporate (FPX Business) channel needs separate enablement. PayNet's own FPX page returned HTTP 403, so the operator's participating-bank list could not be read; identity was confirmed on bankislam.com, which lists FPX, DuitNow and JomPAY among its services. Note that similarly named Islamic banks exist in other countries, so this row should be read as the Malaysian institution only.
