What the last check found

A specific institution, not a category: Banco Agrario de Colombia S.A. is the Colombian state's rural bank, created in 1999 out of the liquidated Caja Agraria, lending to farming, livestock, forestry and agro-industry. It is unusually load-bearing for a single bank: as of 2019 it ran 784 offices across 754 municipalities and was the only bank present in 457 of them, which is why a payout provider reaching rural Colombia must support it.

Integrators should understand what it is and is not. Of every gateway checked, only dLocal documents it, and only on the payouts side: its Colombia payouts page lists "Banco Agrario | 040" among 43 institutions, with savings and checking account numbers up to 12 digits, payouts always settled in COP (source currency COP or USD), whole-number amounts, account type CHECKING or SAVINGS, and B2C/B2B/P2P flows. So this is a payout rail, reachable through an aggregator, not a redirect a shopper picks at checkout.

Documentation is silent on the pay-in direction. dLocal's and EBANX's Colombia pay-in pages list PSE, Bre-B, Efecty, Bancolombia, Nequi, Addi and cards, with no Banco Agrario; neither enumerates PSE's participating banks (dLocal defers to its Search payment methods API under id "IO", EBANX to /ws/getBankList), so whether a customer can select it inside PSE is undocumented rather than disproven. EBANX's own Colombian payout bank list of 21 institutions omits it. Adyen, Airwallex, Antom and Stripe document no Colombian local rail at all. No source states refunds, recurring, chargebacks or 3DS for it.

  4. dLocal — Colombia (pay-in methods) · docs.dlocal.commethodsintegrationsUsed for Negative evidence that it is not a dLocal pay-in method: the Colombia catalogue lists cards, Efecty, PSE, Bancolombia, Nequi, Mercado Pago, Bre-B and Addi, all COP, with no Banco Agrario; and the PSE bank list is deferred to the Search payment methods API (id "IO"), so PSE participation is undocumented.Checked 20 October 2026
  5. EBANX — Payout: Colombia · docs.ebanx.comcurrenciescapabilitiesUsed for Negative evidence that EBANX's Colombian payout bank list (21 institutions including Bancolombia 1007, Banco de Bogotá 1001, Nequi 1507, Daviplata 1551, Movii 1801; currency COP) does not include Banco Agrario.Checked 20 October 2026
  6. EBANX — Colombia country overview · docs.ebanx.commethodsUsed for Negative evidence: EBANX's Colombian pay-in methods are cards, PSE Avanza, Bre-B, Botón Bancolombia, Efecty and Nequi, COP only, with no Banco Agrario.Checked 20 October 2026
  7. EBANX — PSE Avanza (Colombia) · docs.ebanx.comcurrenciesUsed for Evidence that the PSE bank list is retrieved at runtime from /ws/getBankList and only sampled in docs (Alianza Fiduciaria 1815, Banco de Bogotá 1001, Banco Finandina 1063), so Banco Agrario's PSE availability is unstated rather than excluded; currency COP.Checked 20 October 2026

  12. Rapyd — documentation index (llms.txt) · docs.rapyd.netcountriesmethodscapabilitiesUsed for Negative evidence from a third gateway, found via the sanctioned /llms.txt discovery path rather than guessing: searched in full (both halves of the 168k-char index) with no occurrence of "Agrario"; Rapyd publishes country-specific Local Bank Payout pages for 15 countries (US, MY, JP, ID, BG, UA, GB, AE, PL, CZ, HU, RO, DK, SE, NO), none of them Colombia, and the only Colombian entry anywhere is Bancolombia as a collections payment method; Colombian payout bank availability is deferred to the List Payout Method Types / Get Payout Required Fields APIs at runtime, so Banco Agrario is unstated rather than excluded there. Supports the conclusion that dLocal is the only gateway publishing this bank.Checked 20 October 2026
