Beeline
Beeline payments enable customers to use mobile balance (carrier billing) or linked wallet funds to complete digital transactions.
Beeline payments enable customers to use mobile balance (carrier billing) or linked wallet funds to complete digital transactions. Beeline is a Russian operator but also operates in CIS countries and may be referred to by different brand names e.g. Armenia has Team Telecom, whereas Uzbekistan operates Beeline Uzbekistan Payments are authenticated via SMS, USSD, or app-based authorization, with charges applied directly to the user’s mobile account. Merchants benefit from high conversion rates, especially among unbanked or youth demographics. Ideal for digital goods, gaming, subscriptions, and microtransactions in markets where mobile penetration outpaces banking adoption.

What Beeline costs
Merchants do not pay Beeline directly. Each payment provider that offers it sets its own rate, so compare a few and ask them to quote.
What the last check found
Beeline is not a scheme or a wallet of its own: it is VEON's consumer telecom brand, and as a rail it means direct carrier billing against a subscriber's airtime balance or phone bill. There is no single "Beeline" integration — each country's operator is a separate connection, reachable only through an aggregator.
Only two gateways document it. YooKassa (Russia) names Билайн, with MegaFon and MTS, as a supported operator for its mobile_balance method: API type mobile_balance, external confirmation, one-hour payment window, six-hour hold with full capture only, minimum 10 RUB and a maximum of 5,000–15,000 RUB depending on operator. Refunds are full and partial and instant; auto-payments (recurring) are explicitly not supported. YooKassa's payouts API can also credit Beeline subscriber accounts. Paymentwall's Mobiamo carrier reference lists Beeline under Kazakhstan (carrier ID 214) and Georgia (262), with no currency; the Mobiamo product page states no refunds, no chargebacks, and recurring only for subscription price points. Treat those two rows carefully — Mobiamo's own live coverage table returns 11 countries and neither Kazakhstan nor Georgia is among them, so the carrier list reads as a legacy ID registry.
Documentation is silent everywhere else: Adyen, Airwallex, Antom and Stripe never mention Beeline and list no CIS country at all; dLocal's 58 country pages include no CIS market; Checkout.com, Mollie, Rapyd, Nuvei's APM country/currency table, Worldline and ECommPay have nothing. One trap for an integrator: Uzbek and Kyrgyz payment networks list Beeline as a biller you top up — money flowing to the operator, not a method you accept. (Discovery was via llms.txt/sitemap.xml on each docs host; this run's web-search quota was exhausted.)
Checked again on 2026-10-21 and corrected: NOT A CATEGORY. "Beeline" is a named carrier brand, not a kind of payment.

- YooKassa developer docs — Баланс мобильного телефона (mobile_balance) · yookassa.ruUsed for States Билайн (Beeline) as one of the supported mobile operators for the mobile_balance method (with МегаФон and МТС); states the currency as rubles (minimum payment 10 RUB, maximum 5,000–15,000 RUB depending on operator) → RU + RUB; states refunds 'да, полный и частичный' (yes, full and partial) and instant → refunds + partial refunds; states 'Автоплатежи: нет' (recurring NOT supported); states API type mobile_balance, external confirmation, 1-hour payment window, 6-hour hold with full capture only, registry code MC.Checked 20 October 2026
- YooKassa payouts API — Перевод на счет мобильного телефона · yookassa.ruUsed for States that YooKassa can make payouts to subscriber accounts of Russian mobile operators including Билайн (Beeline) → payouts/withdrawals feature, and corroborates Russia as the country. - Paymentwall docs — Mobiamo Carriers · docs.paymentwall.comUsed for The only gateway doc that states a country for Beeline outside Russia: table rows 'Kazakhstan | Beeline | 214' (Asia section) and 'Georgia | Beeline | 262' (Europe section) → KZ and GE. No currency column, so no currency claim is taken from it.Checked 20 October 2026
- Paymentwall docs — Payment Method: Mobiamo · docs.paymentwall.comUsed for Describes the product that carries the Beeline connections: Type 'Mobile Payments' (mobile carrier billing), payment confirmation Instant, Chargebacks No, Refunds No, Onboarding required No, Recurring Payments 'Yes for subscription type in Mobiamo coverage', processing currencies 'depending on carriers'. Basis for NOT claiming chargebacks, and for flagging the refunds/recurring conflict with YooKassa.Checked 20 October 2026
- Mobiamo — Coverage (table loaded from /coverage/get-prices) · mobiamo.comUsed for Mobiamo's current coverage table lists only 11 countries with their price points and currencies (Ecuador, Korea, Malaysia, Norway, Poland, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Slovakia, South Africa, Spain, Thailand) — neither Kazakhstan nor Georgia appears, which is why the Beeline KZ/GE carrier rows are flagged as a probably-legacy carrier-ID registry and no KZT currency is recorded.Checked 20 October 2026
- VEON press release — VEON announces sale of Armenian operations (29 Oct 2020) · veon.comUsed for States VEON sold CJSC 'VEON Armenia' to Team LLC in October 2020 — evidence that the Beeline brand left Armenia, so the directory's existing Armenia country row has no basis.Checked 20 October 2026
- VEON press release — VEON announces sale of Georgian operations (08 Jun 2022) · veon.comUsed for States VEON completed the sale of 'VEON Georgia LLC' to its former local partner in June 2022 and refers to the business as 'Beeline Georgia' — confirms the Georgian Beeline existed but is no longer a VEON operation, context for the Paymentwall Georgia row.Checked 20 October 2026

- Nuvei docs — APM countries and currencies · docs.nuvei.comUsed for Nuvei's full APM country-and-currency table contains no Beeline entry — i.e. a gateway that does publish per-method country+currency does not cover this rail.Checked 20 October 2026
- JetPay developer docs — Mobile Commerce in Kazakhstan: Purchase · developers.jetpay.kzUsed for States country 'Kazakhstan' and lists 'Beeline' (ID BEELINE) among supported mobile network operators alongside Activ, Altel, Kcell and Tele2, with operator list retrievable from /v2/info/mobile/sale/list; states 'Payment currencies: KZT' (Kazakhstani tenge) with payment_currency: 'KZT' and "currency": "KZT" in the request examples. This is the current, non-legacy basis for keeping KZ and the only source for adding KZT — it replaces the Paymentwall carrier-ID row, which could not carry the country on its own.Checked 21 October 2026
- Mobiamo — live coverage/price-point endpoint behind the /coverage table · mobiamo.comUsed for Returns 11 countries and their named carriers (Claro/Movistar EC; KT/LGU+/SKT KR; Celcom/Maxis MY; Norway, Poland, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Slovakia, South Africa, Spain, Thailand). Kazakhstan and Georgia are absent and 'Beeline' appears for no country at all — confirms, more strongly than the record's own flag, that Paymentwall's Beeline rows (KZ 214, GE 262) are a stale carrier-ID registry and not live coverage.Checked 21 October 2026
- beeline.ge — now served by the Cellfie certificate · beeline.geUsed for Fetch fails with "Host: beeline.ge is not in the cert's altnames: DNS:*.cellfie.ge, DNS:cellfie.ge" — primary evidence that the Georgian Beeline operation is now Cellfie and the Beeline brand no longer exists in Georgia. Basis for dropping the GE row.Checked 21 October 2026
- Wikipedia — Beeline (brand) · en.wikipedia.orgUsed for Footprint and ownership timeline: Georgia sold to a Georgian owner and rebranded Cellfie (beeline.ge redirects there); Armenia sold to Team CJSC in 2020; VEON completed its exit from Russia on 9 October 2023 (PJSC VimpelCom); Kyrgyzstan's Sky Mobile sold to state-owned Eldik Bank in August 2025 but still trading as Beeline; Vietnam exited 2012 (now Gmobile); Ukraine merged into Kyivstar 2010. Corroborating/secondary — used for the GE drop (alongside the beeline.ge cert and the already-cited VEON Georgia press release) and to correct the notes' 'VEON's brand' framing, not to add any row.Checked 21 October 2026
