What Niubiz costs

Niubiz quotes per merchant. What you are offered depends on your volume, your industry, the countries you sell in, your card mix and your risk profile — so a published headline rate would not be your rate. Ask them for a quote against your own numbers.

What the last check found

Niubiz is Peru's incumbent card acquirer and processor — the business formerly called VisaNet Perú. Its own developer portal is the only real documentation: a ReadMe-hosted site that publishes a machine-readable index at desarrolladores.niubiz.com.pe/llms.txt. The corporate site www.niubiz.com.pe is an Angular SPA whose /robots.txt, /sitemap.xml and /llms.txt all return the app shell, so nothing there is crawlable.

The VisaNet heritage is load-bearing in the integration, not just history: every API host is *.vnforapps.com (apiprod/apitestenv), the hosted-checkout JavaScript global is literally VisanetCheckout.configure(), and the payout card rail runs over api.visadirect. Anyone grepping a codebase for "Niubiz" will miss all of it.

Coverage is single-country. The authorization request carries an ISO 4217 currency field documented as "Ejemplo: PEN y USD", and sandbox merchant codes are issued per currency — one Soles merchant, one Dólares merchant, with different settlement options. Card brands are Visa, Mastercard, Amex and Diners Club; local rails are Yape, PLIN and PagoEfectivo. A DCC eligibility API exists for foreign cards, but no page names the eligible foreign currencies.

Worth knowing: no international gateway documents Niubiz as a payment method. Adyen, Antom, Stripe, Airwallex, Checkout.com, Mollie and Rapyd never mention it, and both dLocal's and EBANX's Peru pages sell Peruvian cards without naming the acquirer behind them. That is expected — Niubiz is the acquirer, not a consumer-facing method — so reaching it means a direct Niubiz merchant affiliation, not an aggregator switch. Chargebacks are documented nowhere in the portal.
