PromptPay

This is a second label for a rail already listed here under its own name, so it carries no country or currency: publishing both would tell a reader that one gateway supports something its competitors do not, when it is the identical rail under a different word. The integration detail worth having has been moved to the listing that owns the rail. Where the write-up below refers to a recorded country or currency, this line is the correction.

ThaiQR is dLocal's "Thai QR Payment". dLocal's Thailand page documents it as `payment_method_id` `QR`, `payment_method_type` `WALLET`, country `TH`, currency `THB` (2 decimals), with DIRECT and REDIRECT flows, immediate notification, refunds marked Yes, and a maximum supported expiration of 10 minutes. In the DIRECT flow dLocal returns a `ticket` object carrying a QR payload and an `image_url`; the docs warn that `ticket.barcode` "must not be labeled as a conventional EMVCo barcode" and should be passed through unmodified as an opaque provider payload — an integration detail worth catching before you try to re-encode it. dLocal also requires a 13-digit Thai identity card as the payer `document` for Thailand, and names Thai QR Payment alongside Alipay, WeChat Pay and ShopeePay as "popular options in Thailand".

dLocal is the only gateway checked that uses this name. Elsewhere the Thai scan-to-pay rail appears as PromptPay: Rapyd lists `th_thaipromptpayqr_bank` and `th_thaipromptpayqrcredit_bank` ("PromptPay, Visa QR Scan to Pay") for Thailand in THB, refunds via its Client Portal, no recurring, no chargebacks; Antom documents PromptPay as a code-scanning method for Thai buyers in THB with conditional refunds, partial refunds inside 365 days, no subscriptions or tokenisation and no chargebacks; Stripe lists `promptpay` (THB, TH business and customer location); Airwallex lists PromptPay as a THB bank transfer settling T+3. No source equates the two, so they are kept separate here.

Where documentation is silent: nothing states partial refunds, recurring or chargebacks for dLocal's `QR` method, and no gateway offers it for payouts — dLocal's Thailand payouts are bank transfer and TrueMoney only. Adyen's catalog, Worldline's sitemap and the Checkout.com and PayerMax doc indexes carry neither name. A one-country, one-currency pay-in rail, reachable only through an aggregator.
