What the last check found
Banco de Bogotá is Colombia's oldest commercial bank (founded 1870, headquartered in Bogotá, part of Grupo Aval, one of the country's "Big Four"). It is not a payment method in its own right, and no gateway sells it as one: Adyen's catalog, Airwallex's matrix, Antom's catalog and Stripe's support tables contain no Colombian local methods at all (Stripe's page has zero occurrences of "Colombia", "Bogotá" or "COP"), and Rapyd's Americas list names only Bancolombia.
It surfaces in gateway documentation in exactly two shapes, both as a bank identifier rather than a product. On the pay-in side, EBANX's PSE Avanza page returns "BANCO DE BOGOTA" with code 1001 from /ws/getBankList; the shopper picks it from a dropdown and the integrator passes that value as bank_code — so the method being integrated is PSE (ACH Colombia's bank-transfer rail) and Banco de Bogotá is one of its banks. dLocal does the same but publishes no list: its Colombia page exposes PSE as method code PC and says banks come from the Search payment methods API at runtime.
On the payout side both name it explicitly: EBANX's Colombia payout page lists it at code 1001, dLocal's bank-code table at 001 — the same bank under two code schemes (ACH/PSE vs Superfinanciera), a genuine integration trap. Country is Colombia and currency COP in every source.
Documentation is silent on refunds, partial refunds, recurring and chargebacks for the bank itself; dLocal states refunds only for PSE as a method. Unlike Bancolombia there is no documented standalone Banco de Bogotá button, and the bank's own site returns HTTP 403 to automated fetches.
