Express Lider

Express Líder is not a payment method. The Spanish Wikipedia article on Walmart Chile lists "Express de Líder" as one of four retail formats the company runs — 158 "supermercados de proximidad" next to 103 Líder hypermarkets, SuperBodega aCuenta and Central Mayorista. It is a shop brand: no scheme, no acquirer, no payment product. The listing entered this directory through the March 2026 WordPress import, whose body text ("Express Lider is a payment solution offered by Lider... As a PSP, Express Lider provides businesses with a secure and efficient way to process payments") carries no source and reads as generated filler; the same import also created Lider, Lider-2, Walmart Lider and Banco Walmart Lider — the same retailer four more times. No gateway documents it. dLocal's Chile page enumerates the market completely (Visa, Visa Debit, Mastercard, Mastercard Debit, Amex, CMR, Mach, plus Webpay, Khipu, Fintoc, Mercado Pago, Sencillito, Servipag) and EBANX's Chile overview lists Credit Card, Debit Card, Bank Transfer, Servipag, WebPay, MACH and stablecoins — neither names Líder. Adyen's catalogue (both halves of the 122k-character page), Airwallex's matrix, Antom's list and Stripe's support matrix contain no Lider, Walmart or Presto entry; Rapyd names Chile as a covered country but documents no Chilean method. Where documentation is silent: whether Líder stores host a cash-collection counter — dLocal says Servipag operates "over a thousand stores, both under the SERVIPAG brand and other brands" and that Sencillito vouchers work at "a wide range of stores", naming none — and whether Walmart Chile's own Presto card is acquirable anywhere. Recommendation: drop the CL/CLP rows, flag the listing as not-a-method, and merge it with the other Lider duplicates rather than sourcing it. Servipag's own site returned HTTP 403, so it could not be checked.

Checked again on 2026-10-21 and corrected: I verified the record's load-bearing sources, then refuted its central claim — but its answer (record nothing) still holds, for a different reason. IDENTITY — settled.

Checked against Express Lider’s own documentation on 21 October 2026. Coverage changes; confirm anything you are about to build on.
