What Jeton costs
Jeton quotes per merchant. What you are offered depends on your volume, your industry, the countries you sell in, your card mix and your risk profile — so a published headline rate would not be your rate. Ask them for a quote against your own numbers.

What the last check found
Jeton is a brand, not a licence-holder. It is operated by LA Orange Limited (England, company 11535714, incorporated 24 August 2018 as URUS LONDON LTD, renamed in 2020; The Shard, 32 London Bridge Street, London SE1 9SG), which publishes FCA reference 902088 without ever stating a licence category. The FCA's firm checker settles what that reference is: LA ORANGE LIMITED is an "E-money agent", not an institution, and its principal is Financial House Limited, FRN 902039. So Jeton holds no e-money licence of its own, and the FCA's own note is that FSCS protection may not reach money held through an agent. The firm's audited 2023 accounts agree, describing the principal activity of both company and group as "agents for e-money services".
Consistent with that, Jeton's own footer says the Jeton Card Account and Card are issued by Financial House Limited, FRN 902039, a third-party Authorised EMI. The register confirms Financial House Limited at EC4A 3EP, the same address the FCA gives for LA Orange's principal, and the FCA's published e-money register gives its status as Authorised Electronic Money Institution. Card funds therefore sit with Financial House, not with Jeton.
The group's only institution licence in its own name was Cypriot: La Orange CY Limited, EMI 115.1.3.66, granted 09/01/2024, permitted to start operations 30/04/2024 — and withdrawn on 03/08/2026. The Central Bank of Cyprus register workbook carries it on the sheet of institutions whose licences have been withdrawn, and the register's contact block ties that entity to jeton.com directly, at 116 Gladstonos Avenue, M. Kyprianou House, 3rd and 4th Floors, 3032 Limassol. There is no replacement: neither "La Orange" nor "Jeton" appears on the Cyprus payment-institution register or the incoming-passport EMI register, so there is no current EEA authorisation.
Meanwhile the default "All Countries" terms contract with Jeton Bank Limited, a Commonwealth of Dominica company (registration 2022/C0175, Roseau), under Dominica law. Despite the "Jeton Bank" and "The Bank for All Businesses" marketing, no Dominica licence was found — the FSU register is a JavaScript search form with no inline list and no downloadable licensee list — and jetonbank.com now redirects to jeton.com/business. A company number is not an authorisation. jeton.us states that Jeton USA "is not a bank and is not FDIC-insured" and offers no US financial services.
Coverage claims conflict: this listing holds 57 countries, Jeton's /about page says 27 and its /business page claims 80 or more.

- Jeton Help Desk — complete article index (Zendesk public API) · jetonhelp.zendesk.comUsed for Substitute for the missing sitemap: the authoritative index of the entire en-gb help centre (98 articles). Programmatic scan of every article body found ZERO articles containing 4+ country names or 4+ currency codes, and no article title referencing supported/available countries or currencies. This upgrades 'no coverage page found' to 'no coverage page exists' for the help centre, which was the main place a missed coverage page could have hidden. Also the route by which the non-serviced-country article is actually readable (www.jeton.com and zendesk return 403 to plain fetchers; a browser User-Agent returns HTTP 200), verifying the exclusion list verbatim: Afghanistan, Central African Republic, Cuba, Ethiopia, Iran, Iraq, Korea, Libya, Somalia, South Sudan (listed twice in the source), The Syrian Arab Republic, Yemen, United States, Russia — article updated 16 October 2026. None of the 19 recorded countries appears on it.Checked 20 October 2026
- jeton.com sitemap_index.xml — HTTP 404 · jeton.comUsed for Corroborates the researcher's no-machine-readable-index finding beyond the single robots.txt citation. Verified 404 on all four conventional index paths: /robots.txt, /sitemap.xml, /sitemap_index.xml and /llms.txt (the 564 KB body on this one is the Next.js SPA 404 shell, not a sitemap). jetonhelp.zendesk.com/sitemap.xml is also 404. Establishes that no coverage page was merely overlooked.Checked 20 October 2026
- Jeton Newsroom index · jeton.comUsed for Confirms the researcher correctly excluded the remittance-corridor posts from the footprint. The only country names anywhere in the newsroom are Japan, Cyprus, India, Bangladesh, Argentina and Zimbabwe — all 'Send Money to...' marketing destinations, not availability statements. IN, BD, AR, CY and ZW are rightly absent from the countries array (Cyprus is a licensing entity, LA Orange CY Limited, not a serviced market).Checked 20 October 2026
- Jeton release notes (and /partnerships, /promotions, /jeton-card, /support) · jeton.comUsed for The five site routes the researcher never cited, checked for missed coverage data. jeton.com's real route list was reconstructed by link extraction from /, /business and /fees (no sitemap exists) and contains only 19 routes — no /countries, /coverage, /markets or /supported-countries page. Grepping 44 country names and 36 currency codes across these five pages returned no country or currency list. Confirms /fees is genuinely the only enumerated country list and /business the only enumerated currency list. Also verified: raw /fees HTML contains data-name attributes for exactly Europe, All Other Countries + the 19 recorded countries and no others, and raw /business HTML contains exactly the 24 ticker currency codes (IDR appears only on /fees), so both recorded arrays are exact rather than approximate.Checked 20 October 2026
