What mBank costs
mBank quotes per merchant. What you are offered depends on your volume, your industry, the countries you sell in, your card mix and your risk profile — so a published headline rate would not be your rate. Ask them for a quote against your own numbers.
What the last check found
mBank S.A. is a Polish universal bank at ul. Prosta 18, Warsaw, listed on the WSE as MBK with Commerzbank as majority shareholder. It is not a PSP, and there is no name collision to worry about here: mbank.pl's llms.txt explicitly scopes the mBank name to mBank S.A. operating in Poland, Czechia and Slovakia, and the CZ/SK sites carry that same entity's branch registrations.
Two distinct things sit behind this listing. First, mTransfer, the bank's own pay-by-link button, labelled "platební tlačítko" / "platobné tlačidlo" on the Czech and Slovak sites. A merchant with an mBank business account activates it in internet banking and integrates it directly: a form POST of base64-encoded JSON (ServiceId, Amount, Description, Properties, TransactionDate) to https://mtransfer.mbank.pl/api/mtransfer/initialize, signed RSA-SHA256 in OpenPGP ASCII armor, with an asynchronous JSON callback ("NPM") carrying PaymentStatus Succeeded/Failed. Two things stand out: there is no currency field anywhere in the spec — the amount is implicitly the merchant account's currency — and the signing public key is registered by emailing a named mBank employee ([email protected]), with a cap of three certificates per ServiceId.
Second, Paynow (docs.paynow.pl, footer "Paynow by mElements S.A.", part of mBank Group): a conventional gateway with REST v1/v3, method types APPLE_PAY, BLIK, CARD, ECOMMERCE, GOOGLE_PAY, PAYPO, PBL, payment links, card tokenization, marketplace boarding and multipayouts, plus WooCommerce, PrestaShop, Magento 2, Shopify and other plugins. Self-onboarding runs from mBank online banking; Apple Pay and PayPo require moving the contract from mBank to mElements.
Where it is silent: no acceptance-country list anywhere, and no currency for the CZ/SK mTransfer rails. Notably, the Polish site publishes no mTransfer merchant documentation at all — only account terms — and its business mTransfer page points the reader at PayU; the technical PDFs exist only on mbank.cz and mbank.sk.

- Przelewy24 payments | Stripe Documentation · docs.stripe.comUsed for Third-party gateway API-doc cross-check on over-claim. Stripe states the P24 pay-by-link route (through which mBank is reachable) is payer-side Poland only: "Customers in the following countries can use P24. - Podmínky pro zakládání a vedení firemních účtů se službou mTransfer PRO (mBank CZ) · mbank.czUsed for Evidence for why CZK cannot be sourced and was correctly omitted: the CZ mTransfer PRO terms defer currency to a list published elsewhere — accounts with the mTransfer service operate "v měnách, které mBank uveřejňuje na Internetových stránkách mBank" — rather than naming CZK. Confirms a Czech merchant-account product exists for mTransfer (mKonto Business se službou mTransfer) supporting CZ coverage. The only CZK/EUR figures in the document are an authorisation-limit default (0,- CZK) and the PSD2 50 EUR liability cap, neither a method currency.Checked 20 October 2026
- mBank PL child sitemap (firmy) — and the other 34 child sitemaps of sitemap.xml · mbank.plUsed for Corrects the record's methodology description: www.mbank.pl/sitemap.xml is an index of 35 child sitemaps containing no URLs itself. Walking the children (firmy, pomoc, indywidualny, msp-korporacje, business, help, o-nas, about-us, lp) yields exactly the 5 mTransfer URLs the record claims and no technical documentation, plus 3 Paynow URLs (one of which the record did not cite) and no supported-countries or coverage page. Verifies the record's conclusion while showing the stated basis was imprecise.Checked 20 October 2026
