PLIN is a real-time mobile payment system developed in Peru that allows users to send and receive money instantly. As a PSP, PLIN offers secure payments directly through users' mobile phones, providing an easy way to pay bills, transfer money, and make purchases. PLIN’s integration with local banks and mobile platforms makes it widely accessible to both consumers and merchants in Peru, simplifying payments and enhancing financial inclusion by offering a fast, low-cost alternative to traditional banking.

What PLIN costs
Merchants do not pay PLIN directly. Each payment provider that offers it sets its own rate, so compare a few and ask them to quote.

PLIN is the banks' answer to BCP's Yape: a P2P-and-merchant rail living inside each participating bank's app, settling in soles only. plin.pe calls it "transferir dinero entre personas naturales en soles de manera inmediata y gratuita", caps consumers at S/500 per operation and S/2,000 per day (receiving up to S/20,000 daily), and says payments can reach Yape users — but it never names an operator, so ownership of the scheme is undocumented on its own site.
For integrators the useful source is Bamboo Payment's dedicated page: country `PE`, PEN examples, code `PLN`, type Wallet. The flow is unusual — asynchronous, with no redirect ("Plin does not redirect the customer to a bank or to URLs configured by the Merchant"): the shopper picks Plin and their bank, gets a push notification, and has three non-configurable minutes to authorise before the order is CANCELLED. Only Interbank (003), BBVA (011) and Scotiabank (009) are listed there. Full and partial refunds are supported, asynchronously, with same-day partials and 00:00–08:00 requests queued to after 08:00 Peru time. Pagsmile documents Plin as a `channel` under method `Wallet`, both pay-in and payout, with currency fixed to PEN — the only payout evidence found.
Nobody large carries it. Adyen, Stripe, Airwallex, Antom, Checkout.com, Mollie, Rapyd, EBANX, Nuvei and Kushki document Yape for Peru but not Plin; dLocal mentions Plin only as a wallet that can scan a LigoPay QR, and Localpayment lists it as bank code 902, "NOT CONNECTED". Recurring billing, chargebacks and per-method limits are documented nowhere. Note: web-search budget was exhausted this run, so all findings come from direct documentation fetches.
