The short version
- The directory — its selection, arrangement, writing and data — belongs to us; you may use it for your own research, not copy it wholesale.
- You keep ownership of what you post; you give us a licence to show it on the site.
- Names and logos of providers and payment methods belong to their owners. We show them to identify, never to claim endorsement.
- If something here infringes your rights, tell us with the details below and we will act promptly.
1. What belongs to us
The PaymentsDatabase directory — the selection and arrangement of listings, the descriptions, country guides, glossary, statistics, comparisons and the underlying data — is owned by MEGHR LTD and protected by copyright and by the database right.
You may read it, search it, quote short passages with a link back, and use what you learn in your own business. You may not copy, scrape, crawl or extract all or a substantial part of it, republish it as a dataset, or use it to build a competing directory or to train a machine-learning model, without our written permission. Automated access beyond ordinary search-engine crawling needs our permission too.
2. What belongs to you
You keep the rights in what you post: your profile, sparks, comments, images, tenders, applications and messages. So that the site can work, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, display and adapt (for example resize or crop) that content for the purpose of running and promoting PaymentsDatabase. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies other members already received (such as messages) and backups we keep for a limited time.
Only post what you have the right to post. If you share someone else’s work, you are responsible for having permission.
3. Names and logos of others
Provider, payment-method and scheme names and logos are trade marks of their owners. We show them so you can recognise who a listing is about. That is not a claim of partnership or endorsement. How we source and display them, and how an owner can correct or remove one, is in the brand and logo policy.
4. Reporting an infringement
Write to [email protected] with:
- your name and contact details, and on whose behalf you act if it is not yourself;
- what you own (the work, trade mark or other right) and, where you can, proof of it;
- the exact address (URL) of each page where the material appears;
- why you believe the use is not authorised; and
- a statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and that you are the owner or authorised to act for them.
We will acknowledge a complete notice and, where it is well founded, remove or disable the material promptly. We tell the member who posted it and give them the chance to respond.
5. If your content was taken down
If you believe it was removed by mistake, or that you have the right to use it, reply to our notice or write to [email protected] explaining why. We may put it back if the explanation holds up and the complainant does not pursue the matter.
Accounts that repeatedly post infringing material will be suspended or closed.
