Argencard is an Argentine credit-card brand, historically the holder of the Mastercard licence for Argentina and Uruguay: Spanish Wikipedia's Grupo Exxel article records that the buyout group "compró Argencard por 140 millones de dólares" in 1995 and that the company "poseía la licencia de Mastercard para Argentina y Uruguay". It now survives as a legacy brand on Argentine issuers' plastic rather than as a network with its own public presence — both argencard.com.ar and argencard.com fail to resolve in DNS, so there is no operator site to cite for current ownership.

For an integrator, one gateway documents it. dLocal's Argentina pay-in page lists Argencard with brand code AG under payment_method_id CARD, typed "Credit Card", with allowed flows DIRECT and REDIRECT, a minimum of 10 ARS, and "Charge in USD: No" — ARS-only processing, two decimals, AR country code. dLocal's capability matrix marks refunds, recurring and both chargeback and chargeback-dispute handling as available for the brand. It is silent on partial refunds, 3-D Secure, installments and pre-authorisation, and dLocal's Argentina payouts documentation covers only bank transfers to a 22-digit CBU/CVU or alias, so no card-payout path is documented.

Everywhere else checked, Argencard is absent. Adyen's method catalogue (read in full), Airwallex's matrix, Antom and Stripe never mention Argentina or any Argentine local card brand. EBANX's Argentina overview names Naranja and Cabal but not Argencard. PayRetailers' Argentina card list is cabal, cencosud, maestro, master, Naranja, shopping-visa, uala, visa. Mollie and Checkout.com publish no LATAM local methods. Worldline's method pages render client-side and its llms.txt 404s, so Worldline could not be verified either way. Treat Argencard as a brand-acceptance item within an Argentine card integration, reachable in practice only through an aggregator, not as a rail integrated on its own.
