What Naranja costs

Naranja quotes per merchant. What you are offered depends on your volume, your industry, the countries you sell in, your card mix and your risk profile — so a published headline rate would not be your rate. Ask them for a quote against your own numbers.

What the last check found

Naranja is a card scheme, not a wallet or a redirect rail: dLocal's Argentina page files it in the "Cards supported" table as brand ID NJ under payment_method_id CARD, type CARD, details "Credit Card", allowed flows DIRECT and REDIRECT, minimum amount 10 ARS. Its capabilities column states refunds, recurring, chargeback and chargeback-dispute support, and "Charge in USD: No". Installments and partial refunds are not stated there, which matters in Argentina where installment plans ("cuotas") are the main reason shoppers reach for a local card — confirm with the acquirer before assuming them. EBANX lists the method as "Naranja" (code `naranja`) on its Payment Methods by Country table with currencies "ARS, USD", type Cards, flow Cross-border; its Argentina overview adds only that "local card schemes like Naranja and Cabal capture meaningful share that international-only processors cannot reach". The ARS/USD conflict between the two gateways is unresolved in the docs. PayRetailers' marketing page shows Naranja, Visa Naranja and NaranjaX logos for Argentina, but as image alt text, not documented parameters. Nobody publishes payouts, partial refunds or 3-D Secure for it. It is absent from Adyen's 113-method catalog, Stripe's support matrix (no Argentina coverage at all), Airwallex's matrix and Antom's list, so practically it is reachable only through a LatAm aggregator. Note for the directory: Naranja X is also an issuer and digital-account provider, which justifies the "both" typing; the operator site naranjax.com returned HTTP 500 when fetched, so the identity facts come from Wikipedia and the gateway docs.
