Boleto Rápido is an accelerated version of Brazil’s Boleto system enabling faster confirmation through online banking or instant-payment rails. Customers still receive a boleto with barcode or QR code but payment reconciliation occurs more quickly, improving conversion for time-sensitive purchases. Merchants benefit from reduced waiting times, lower operational risk, and broader reach among Brazilian customers who prefer cash-based or bank-slip payments.

What Boleto Rapido costs
Merchants do not pay Boleto Rapido directly. Each payment provider that offers it sets its own rate, so compare a few and ask them to quote.

Nuvei's own integration data records this method as taking payments but not supporting refunds. That is the sort of constraint a coverage table never carries and which decides whether a method is usable at all: a merchant selling returnable goods cannot settle a dispute through it, and has to refund by another route or not at all. Worth confirming with whichever provider you would use it through, because an acquirer can sometimes arrange what the rail itself does not do.
A single-country method, in Brazil, documented by Adyen, Nuvei and Stripe. Nothing wrong with that — a domestic rail is usually the cheapest and highest-converting way to be paid in its own market, and the reason to care about it is precisely that it is the local default rather than a global option.
Adyen files it under "Cash and ATM". Its catalog is the one place in this industry that publishes a method's countries, its processing currencies and its settlement currencies separately, which is the difference between what a customer can be charged in and what a merchant can be paid in.
One constraint that is easy to miss: a provider documenting this method also states where the MERCHANT has to be incorporated for it to be offered — Brazil. Where a shopper can pay from and where a business can be registered are different questions, and it is the second one that decides whether you can sign at all.
