What DOKU Wallet costs
DOKU Wallet quotes per merchant. What you are offered depends on your volume, your industry, the countries you sell in, your card mix and your risk profile — so a published headline rate would not be your rate. Ask them for a quote against your own numbers.
What the last check found
No name collision here: every payments reference to "DOKU" resolves to PT Nusa Satu Inti Artha, Jakarta (Artha Graha Building, Jl. Jend. Sudirman), founded 2007, rebranded DOKU in 2010, with EMTEK as investor since 2017 and a $32M round from Mitra Apis in 2021. ID/IDR are correct.
The distinctive structural fact is that DOKU is both the wallet issuer and a gateway. Its own licence page states PT Nusa Satu Inti Artha is a Bank Indonesia Payment Service Provider, Permit Category 1, holding five licences — payment gateway, disbursement/remittance, e-money, e-wallet and QRIS. The e-money licence dates from 2012; the wallet launched April 2013. So a merchant accepting this wallet through DOKU is dealing with the issuer directly, whereas Adyen, Airwallex, Ecommpay, PPRO, Komoju and Tazapay reach it as a third-party local method — which is almost certainly how the six referencing providers in this directory relate to it.
Naming trap worth recording: acquirer docs say "DOKU Wallet"; DOKU's own docs say "DOKU e-Wallet". DOKU separately lists "DOKU" as a virtual-account bank (IDR 1–250M) — a different rail from the wallet.
Coverage is published, not inferred. `docs.doku.com/get-started/supported-products-by-region` grades 31 products across Indonesia (30 available) and Malaysia (9). DOKU e-Wallet appears under Indonesia only; the Malaysian limits page (MYR) lists ShopeePay, GrabPay, Touch 'n Go, Boost and ShopBack but not DOKU's wallet. Malaysia is served through acquired senangPay (Simplepay Gateway Sdn Bhd), a BNM-registered merchant acquirer whose e-money issuer and Remittance Class B applications are still pending — so the wallet cannot yet extend there.
Integration: minimum IDR 10,000, no published maximum; wallet-side caps are IDR 2M balance / 20M monthly (Basic) and 20M / 40M (Premium, after KTP plus selfie). DOKU publishes self-serve onboarding, sandbox, docs.doku.com and developers.doku.com. Amounts are whole-rupiah; Adyen settles non-Indonesian merchants in USD. Documentation is silent on licence numbers and on consumer eligibility rules.
