What Express SWIFT costs
Merchants do not pay Express SWIFT directly. Each payment provider that offers it sets its own rate, so compare a few and ask them to quote.

This is a category rather than a branded payment method, so no country or currency is recorded for it. A category that inherits one product's footprint states something false: "cash payment: 1 country" would tell a reader that paying in cash exists in one country. Where the write-up below refers to a recorded country or currency, this line is the correction.
Checked 2026-10-21: Verdict stands as the researcher had it, but one of its load-bearing claims is false, and correcting it makes the case stronger rather than weaker. WHAT THE CATEGORY COVERS.
This is a category rather than a branded payment method, so no country or currency is recorded for it — a category that inherits one product's footprint states something false.
Express SWIFT describes a kind of payment, not a product. SWIFT is the Belgian cooperative's interbank messaging system — banks and PSPs use it to instruct each other — so it has no issuer, no checkout flow and no home country. "Express" is a service tier (same-day or priority value date, sometimes marketed as SWIFT gpi) that each bank prices on its own. It says how fast a wire moves, not what the wire is.
No gateway documents a method by this name. I read the four full catalogues — Adyen (113 methods), Airwallex (98), Antom (109) and Stripe (64) — and none contains any method whose name includes SWIFT. The docs indexes of Mollie, Checkout.com and dLocal name no SWIFT page either, and Worldline's payment-method index renders no list at all (template placeholders only). SWIFT appears in gateway documentation solely as a generic cross-border payout rail: Rapyd's "SWIFT Payout", payout method type `xx_swift_bank`, where the `xx` country prefix marks it as country-agnostic. Rapyd states sender currencies USD, SGD, SEK, NOK, ISK, HKD, GBP, EUR, DKK, CHF and AUD, takes the beneficiary country as a parameter, and documents no express, priority or urgent tier.
The only provider in this directory's own source data that claimed Express SWIFT was OpenPayd; OpenPayd's send-payments page names SEPA, SEPA Instant, SEPA Direct, CHAPS, BACS, Faster Payments, SWIFT and Pix — plain SWIFT, no express variant — and it publishes no developer docs host (docs.openpayd.com does not resolve).
Members of this category are the bank rails themselves plus bank-branded priority wires. Do not conflate it with Antom's "Express Bank Transfer", a real method (South Korea, KRW). The existing Global country row and currency row have no source and should be dropped.

- Rapyd — SWIFT Payout (payout method type xx_swift_bank) · docs.rapyd.netUsed for That SWIFT is documented by a gateway only as a generic, country-agnostic cross-border payout rail (`xx_swift_bank`); its stated sender currencies (USD, SGD, SEK, NOK, ISK, HKD, GBP, EUR, DKK, CHF, AUD); that beneficiary country is a parameter; and that no express/priority/urgent SWIFT tier is documented.Checked 20 October 2026
- Rapyd docs index (llms.txt) · docs.rapyd.netUsed for Establishing which SWIFT pages Rapyd actually publishes ('SWIFT Payout', 'BIC/SWIFT Numbers for Testing') rather than guessing paths — i.e. that no 'Express SWIFT' page exists there.Checked 20 October 2026
- Adyen — payment methods catalogue (113 methods) · docs.adyen.comUsed for That Adyen documents no payment method whose name contains SWIFT; its bank-transfer entries are 'Bank transfer' (AT/BE/ES, EUR) and 'Bank Transfer via KCP' (KR, KRW).Checked 20 October 2026

- Antom — payment methods (109 methods) · docs.antom.comUsed for That Antom documents no SWIFT method, and that its 'Express Bank Transfer' is a distinct real method (buyer country South Korea, processing currency KRW) not to be conflated with this label.Checked 20 October 2026
- Stripe — payment method support (country and currency tables) · docs.stripe.comUsed for That Stripe documents no SWIFT method; its 'Bank transfers' row covers EUR, GBP, JPY, MXN, USD in the EU, JP, MX, GB, US.Checked 20 October 2026

- Worldline — payment methods index · docs.direct.worldline-solutions.comUsed for That Worldline's method index renders no method list at all (template placeholders), so it could not be used either to confirm or rule out a SWIFT entry.Checked 20 October 2026
- OpenPayd — Send payments · openpayd.comUsed for That OpenPayd, the sole provider in the directory's source data claiming 'Express SWIFT', publishes only 'SWIFT' among SEPA, SEPA Instant, SEPA Direct, CHAPS, BACS, Faster Payments, SWIFT and Pix, with no express/priority tier and no stated country or currency list.Checked 20 October 2026
- OpenPayd page sitemap (53 pages) · openpayd.comUsed for That OpenPayd publishes no SWIFT-specific page and no developer documentation host (docs.openpayd.com does not resolve), so the name is not sourceable from the only claimant.Checked 20 October 2026
- OpenPayd — Supported Payment Types (payment type enum table) · apidocs.openpayd.comUsed for Corrects the record's claim that the name is 'not sourceable from the only claimant': OpenPayd's docs DO name EXPRESS_SWIFT, as an API payment-type enum value alongside SWIFT, FASTER_PAYMENTS, CHAPS, ACH, SEPA, SEPA_INSTANT, TARGET2, IAT, WIRE, INT_WIRE. It appears only in GBP, EUR and HUF rows, with beneficiary countries 'All except sanctioned countries' and settlement '1 working day' against '2-5 working days' for plain SWIFT in the same currencies — i.e. a priority tier of the SWIFT rail at one provider, with no prose description, no issuer and no checkout flow. The researcher reached the right verdict from a wrong premise (it checked docs.openpayd.com, which does not resolve; the docs host is apidocs.openpayd.com).Checked 21 October 2026
