What the last check found

TrueMoney is the consumer brand of Ascend Money, the Bangkok fintech held by Charoen Pokphand Group with Ant Group as technology partner. The operating company behind truemoney.com is True Money Co., Ltd., holding Thai money-transfer licence MT125590006. This is the right TrueMoney: Thai-language site, Thai licence, and its own About page claims the seven-market Southeast Asian footprint. No name collision.

The distinction that matters is that the seven-country footprint is where TrueMoney issues wallets, not where a merchant can collect. Every acceptance-side source narrows it to one market. Antom documents buyer country Thailand, processing currency THB, 30,000 THB per transaction and 50,000 THB per day, redirect flow, refunds for 365 days, no chargeback or dispute path, WooCommerce yes and Shopify no. 2C2P carries four separate Thai channels — TRUEMONEY (e-wallet, tokenisable), TRUEMONEYQR, THTRUEMONEY (cash over the counter at TrueMoney shops) and TRUEPAYNEXT (BNPL) — all country TH. Alipay+ lists it under Thailand. Adyen's full documentation index does not mention it at all.

Direct integration is real but Thai. Merchants self-register as a TrueMoney Shop, sole trader or company, acceptance carries no fee, settlement lands in the TrueMoney account once per next business day, and a "TrueMoney Open API" offers incoming-transfer webhooks, balance queries, transfer verification and payment links — free, but gated at 50 qualifying transactions a month, with the Webhook API manual reachable only through an in-app deep link. There is no public API reference. Payouts into wallets run by batch or API behind a sales lead form.

Two cautions. Indonesia: the app's transaction services, QRIS included, ran only to 28 February 2025, with balance cash-out to 24 March 2025 and nothing published since. The Philippine site is empty. Elsewhere acceptance rides national rails — DuitNow QR in Malaysia, VNPAY-QR in Vietnam.
