What DOKU VA costs
DOKU VA quotes per merchant. What you are offered depends on your volume, your industry, the countries you sell in, your card mix and your risk profile — so a published headline rate would not be your rate. Ask them for a quote against your own numbers.
What the last check found
DOKU VA is the virtual-account leg of DOKU, Indonesia's long-established gateway, run by PT Nusa Satu Inti Artha (Jakarta) under a Bank Indonesia PJP Level 1 licence covering payment gateway, remittance, e-money, e-wallet and QRIS. The shopper receives a virtual account number at a named Indonesian bank and pushes an IDR transfer from ATM, internet or mobile banking. Nothing is pulled from the account, which is why no source documents an authorisation step or a chargeback path.
It is one rail across many banks, not a single-bank redirect. DOKU's own docs list VA at BCA, Mandiri, BRI, BNI, BSI, BNC, BTN, BSS, CIMB, Permata, Danamon, Maybank, BPD Bali, BJB, Sinarmas and DOKU itself, available to Indonesian business accounts only, with sharply different per-bank limits (BCA IDR 10,000-50m; BNI max 50m; Permata and BTN near IDR 10bn). Adyen resells a subset as six discrete types - doku_bca_va, doku_bni_va, doku_bri_va, doku_cimb_va, doku_danamon_va, doku_mandiri_va - where BCA and BRI require an Adyen local entity. Validity is 48 hours; the flow is PresentToShopper and needs firstName, lastName and shopperEmail.
For an integrator: refunds yes, partial refunds no, recurring no, chargebacks no. DOKU refunds VA payments to the customer's bank account rather than the original rail, capped at IDR 25m per disbursement, IDR 6,500 fee, up to ten business days, and requires a deposit held with DOKU. Reusable collection exists only as a separate Customer Static VA product.
Where documentation is silent: Adyen alone names DOKU VA. dLocal and EBANX sell an unbranded Indonesian "Virtual Accounts" method without naming the processor; Airwallex lists DOKU Wallet and "Indonesian Bank Transfer" as separate things. Stripe, Mollie, Antom and Worldline publish nothing. Adyen settles in USD; nobody documents payouts or 3DS.

- Payment Link: Dynamic Currency Conversion (changelog, effective 7 August 2026) · docs.doku.comUsed for Negative evidence protecting the single-currency claim. This is the only currency-related page in DOKU's whole doc set and it names USD, SGD, MYR, JPY, AUD, RUB and RMB, so it is the one page that could wrongly inflate this row to eight currencies. It must not be used that way: DCC is a Payment Link display toggle, the page states 'DCC = Currency visibility, not currency conversion of the actual payment' (the payment is processed in the link's original currency, example in IDR), and it never mentions virtual accounts. Recorded so the IDR-only field survives future review.Checked 20 October 2026
