What Neteller costs

Neteller quotes per merchant. What you are offered depends on your volume, your industry, the countries you sell in, your card mix and your risk profile — so a published headline rate would not be your rate. Ask them for a quote against your own numbers.

What the last check found

Neteller is a brand, not a licence-holder. Two Paysafe entities hold the money.

In the UK the issuer is Paysafe Financial Services Limited (company 04478861), an FCA-authorised EMI, FRN 900015 — confirmed on the FCA's firm checker at EC2V 7AD and currently holding permission, with the FCA's published e-money register giving its status as Authorised Electronic Money Institution. Companies House shows this is the original Neteller company: NETELLER (UK) LTD until 2012, then Optimal Payments Limited until 2015. It is the contracting party on neteller.com's terms.

For the EEA the wallet sits with Paysafe Payment Solutions Limited of 15 George's Quay, Dublin, an EMI authorised by the Central Bank of Ireland on 05 March 2019 under reference C184986, passported by freedom of services into 29 other EEA states, and since 3 December 2025 also a MiCA Crypto-Asset Service Provider under the same reference — which is what makes Neteller's crypto feature lawful in the EU. Both entries were read on the Central Bank of Ireland's own firm data page.

A merchant-relevant trap: the Irish registers never use the word "Neteller". C184986 is recorded only as "t/a Skrill", and a search for "Neteller" returns nothing in the e-money, payment-institution or MiCAR registers. The link runs through Paysafe's own regulatory disclosures, which state that Paysafe Payment Solutions Limited trades as Neteller. Because the e-money and the MiCAR authorisations share that single reference, the crypto-asset entry is labelled distinctly here so that a reader can tell which of the two is being described. Separately, Skrill Limited (FRN 900001) owns the Neteller and Net+ trademarks but does not issue the wallet, which is easy to misfile.

Ultimate parent: Paysafe Limited, Bermuda-incorporated, NYSE: PSFE, head office 2 Gresham Street, London. The immediate parent of the UK issuer is Paysafe Group Holdings III Limited. Neteller Group was founded in Canada in 1999.
