Cross-border payment providers

Cross-border payment providers help merchants accept payments from customers abroad — or pay suppliers and sellers in other countries — handling currency conversion, local acquiring or local payment methods, and settlement back to the merchant’s home currency. Processing locally usually raises approval rates and lowers fees compared with putting foreign cards through as international transactions.
