Moyasar is a Saudi payment gateway incorporated in Riyadh in 2015 by a group of local engineers. It processed its first transaction in 2016, added mada online payments in 2017 and Apple Pay in 2019. In March 2022 the Saudi Central Bank licensed Moyasar Financial Company to provide e-commerce payment services, and the company says it moved up to a major payment institution licence in 2025, the year it also launched its own processing platform, the Moyasar Payment Gateway.
Its market is Saudi Arabia. Shoppers can pay with mada, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and UnionPay cards, Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, Google Pay and STC Pay. Merchants get a hosted checkout page, an embeddable payment form, payment links and invoices, plus iOS, Android, Flutter and React Native SDKs and plug-ins for WooCommerce, Magento 2, OpenCart, PrestaShop and nopCommerce. The API also covers payouts, recurring payments, split payments for platforms and smart routing, and a free sandbox simulates network responses.
Moyasar does not publish a price list; rates come from its sales team. Under its terms, money from successful payments reaches the merchant within seven working days, after fees and VAT, for balances of SAR 100 or more. Settlement needs a business account at a Saudi bank, and taking cards issued abroad, including in other Gulf states, needs Moyasar's prior approval and may cost extra.
It suits businesses registered in Saudi Arabia, from small online shops to platforms such as Zid and Jahez, that mainly sell to Saudi customers and want a locally licensed gateway with bank partners including SNB, Al Rajhi and Riyad Bank. Companies that need many currencies or acquiring in other countries will find its reach narrow.

What Moyasar costs
Moyasar quotes per merchant. What you are offered depends on your volume, your industry, the countries you sell in, your card mix and your risk profile — so a published headline rate would not be your rate. Ask them for a quote against your own numbers.

What the last check found
SAMA's own announcement (https://www.sama.gov.sa/en-us/mediacenter/news/pages/news-741.aspx) appeared in search results but SAMA pages could not be fetched, so the regulation url points to Asharq Al-Awsat's report of the same licence. No licence or CR number is shown on Moyasar's pages. Moyasar's about page links a blog post titled as a Major EMI (e-money) licence dated 25 October 2026; this could not be verified and is not recorded. The about page dates the MPG launch to 2025 while a blog post dates it June 2024. A 2020 'international expansion' is mentioned without naming countries, so only SA is recorded. Founders named by Dealroom (Abdulaziz Alshetwi, Basem AlJedai) were not confirmed on a fetched page.
