Revolut Business is the company account side of Revolut, the London fintech founded in 2015. Since 2020 it has also let account holders take payments, so the same app that holds a firm's money can run its checkout. Money from sales lands in the Revolut Business account, often within minutes, rather than in a separate merchant account.
Online, merchants can accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay, Revolut Pay (Revolut's own one-click checkout for its retail customers), and in the UK, open banking payments. Payment links, a hosted checkout, a merchant API and plug-ins for common shop software are included, and in-person sales run through card readers or Tap to Pay on a phone.
Fees are published but depend on the plan and the country. On the Lithuanian Scale plan, for example, EEA consumer cards cost 1% of the payment, other cards 2.8% and American Express 1.7%. The UK Standard plan lists open banking at 1%, capped at £5, and leaves card rates to negotiation. Paid plans include an allowance of fee-free card payments each month, so read your own plan's fee page before comparing.
It is available to businesses registered in the UK and the EEA. UK customers contract with Revolut Ltd, an FCA-authorised e-money institution. EEA customers bank with Revolut Bank UAB, which is licensed in Lithuania. It suits small and mid-sized firms that already bank with Revolut and want acquiring without a second provider. Businesses in higher-risk sectors or with large volumes should confirm eligibility first.

What Revolut Business costs
Revolut Business quotes per merchant. What you are offered depends on your volume, your industry, the countries you sell in, your card mix and your risk profile — so a published headline rate would not be your rate. Ask them for a quote against your own numbers.
- Settlement
- Card payments credited to the Revolut Business account, usually the same day
