Tabby is a buy now, pay later company founded in late 2019 by Hosam Arab, its chief executive, and Daniil Barkalov. It is headquartered in Riyadh and serves Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Kuwait. In September 2026 it raised $233 million at a $6.5 billion valuation in a round led by Blue Pool Capital, and it reports more than 25 million registered users, over 70,000 business partners and about $18 billion of annualised transaction volume.
For shoppers, Tabby appears at checkout as a way to split a purchase into four interest-free payments, with longer plans of up to 12 payments. In Saudi Arabia, consumer and SME finance licences from the Saudi Central Bank, announced in June 2026, added Shariah-compliant plans for purchases above SAR 2,000; it had received a BNPL licence there in 2025. Tabby also issues the Tabby Card, runs a shopping app and, in the UAE, offers Tabby Cash accounts after gaining a stored value facilities licence from the Central Bank of the UAE in April 2026. In 2024 it bought Tweeq, a Saudi e-wallet licensed by the central bank.
Merchants are paid the full amount upfront, within days, while Tabby collects the instalments and carries the repayment risk. Online, it connects through its API and mobile SDK or plug-ins for Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento 2, OpenCart, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Salla and Zid. In store, it works through the Tabby Card, QR codes, payment links and POS integration. Merchants can also switch it on through payment providers such as Checkout.com, Network International, Tap Payments, Telr and PayTabs. Merchant fees are not published.
Tabby fits consumer brands selling online or in store in its three markets; SHEIN, IKEA, Jarir and noon are among those offering it. Tabby decides which shoppers are approved, and it does not serve other Gulf countries.

What Tabby costs
Tabby quotes per merchant. What you are offered depends on your volume, your industry, the countries you sell in, your card mix and your risk profile — so a published headline rate would not be your rate. Ask them for a quote against your own numbers.

What the last check found
Slug matches the existing method term 'tabby'. KWD is not named in Tabby's docs, so only AED and SAR are recorded although Kuwait is a stated market. Tabby's careers page lists a Cairo office, but Egypt is not a stated market and is not recorded. The careers page gives a '$4.5B last implied valuation', which predates the September 2026 round. No licence numbers appear on Tabby's pages; the SAMA BNPL licence (2025) is stated only in Tabby's later releases. Telr, Tap Payments, Network International and PayTabs are not yet in listings-prod, so their slugs are null; set them if those listings are imported in this batch. Adyen's Tabby page could not be fetched and is not recorded.
